The short version
Acquisition AI is a Texas-based service providing auction-day pricing intelligence to automotive dealerships. We collect the minimum data necessary to deliver the product. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties beyond what is strictly required to operate the service.
What we collect
- Account information you provide (name, email, dealership affiliation).
- VIN-level vehicle records uploaded for appraisal or auction scanning.
- Usage telemetry strictly limited to product quality (latency, error rates).
- Standard web server logs (IP, user agent, request paths) for security.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
- We do not train external AI models on your dealership's data.
- We do not share VIN-level data across customer accounts.
- We do not collect data on dealership customers (e.g., consumers buying vehicles).
Browser extension
The Acquisition AI for Dealers browser extension collects no data: when you open a vehicle-appraisal page from your Acquisition AI account, it reads your buying-strategy values from the link's URL and fills them into the appraisal form entirely within your browser. It transmits nothing to us or any third party and stores no personal data.
